resistance and clean surface requirements come into play.

THIS ALLOY IS COMMONLY CALLED AN 18-8 STAINLESS,
18% CHROMIUM AND 8% NICKEL WITH A MAX. OF .08% CARBON.
THIS IS THE MOST COMMON ALLOY FOR COMPONENTS, AND
PARTS FOR MOST APPLICATIONS WHERE EXPOSURE TO
CORROSIVE CHEMICALS IS NOT A CONCERN.
